Global Church Movement Hits Chicago

Destination Church, a new church in Chicago, is part of an expanding international church planting movement called Newfrontiers, with over 700 churches worldwide, in over 50 nations, in just 30 years.

7 Reasons To Start New Churches

  1. 85% of churches in the US are in decline or not growing – 3,750 churches close each year
  2. New churches disproportionately lead more people to Jesus than existing churches
  3. New churches re-energize established churches by developing innovative approaches to mission
  4. New churches reach new generations, which existing churches struggle do to
  5. New churches create opportunities for rapid spiritual growth not often found in established churches
  6. Leaders are raised up and released more quickly in new churches
  7. Jesus told us to do it! The commission in Matthew 28 to make disciples of all nations is a directive to continually gather believers and seekers into communities

What Next?

Destination Church is currently in it’s launching phase and is looking for others who are interested in partnering in the gospel. Worship gatherings happen on Sunday mornings and small groups gather throughout the week. There are regular creative gatherings to provide a relational context for people to engage with the Destination community. Destination Church is highly intentional about investing in relationships — people are simply awesome.

Please connect with and visit the new church. Either show up on Sundays, 10am at ComedySportz Theatre, 929 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657 or connect with Matt Sweetman on 773.789.7071 or use the contact form.
